Serving Suggestions
Ice Cream:
For the perfect hot fudge sundae, heat Slickepott Fudge Sauce carefully in a saucepan and drizzle (generously!) over your favorite ice cream. Garnish with candied hazelnuts, fresh blueberries, and whipped heavy cream; for some extra “oohs” and “ahhs”.
Fruit:
Turn your favorite fruits into an elegant dessert. Serve fondue style, dipping fresh strawberries, chunked melon, sliced peaches, and pineapple pieces into gently heated Slickepott Fudge Sauce. Dried fruits such as apricots, figs, and dates make for exotic variations.
Caramelized Banana Split:
Add an extra dimension to this favorite dessert. Slice one banana length-wise, sprinkle generously with sugar, carefully caramelize with blowtorch or broiler, arrange halves on two scoops of vanilla ice cream, drizzle heated Slickepott Fudge Sauce, garnish with toasted walnuts and whipped cream.
Hot cocoa:
Oh, the possibilities! 1 ½ heaping tablespoons of Slickepott Fudge Sauce heated with 1 cup of milk to make a rich, creamy, and easy hot cocoa. My favorite, however, is to add a shot of espresso to for a “Slickepott Mocha”. At Christmas time, substitute eggnog for the milk for an extra, extra rich treat. Whatever you do, top with whipped cream and dust with cinnamon or cayenne.
